I have known the Meyers professionally as well as personally and in both regards, I have been quite impressed. As a veterinarian and an Arabian horse enthusiast, it has been a pleasure to work with this family. Their hospitality along with their impressive training and breeding program makes for a great barn atmosphere. The quality of horses bred and trained at Rhapsody In Blue is top-notch. Their young stallion Code Blue is a rising star and I look forward to seeing his future successes. The Meyer family takes care of their clients with a personal touch not found at many other barns.

The time that my horses have been in training with Randy and Leigh has been time well invested! It’s a pleasure watching them work with their students—both horse and human—and they have developed a culture of great camaraderie among his clientele. Their barn is a place where you can find guidance with your goals and best interest in mind. Their boundless passion for the horses shines through in everything they do!

In 2003, when I just turned 60 years old, I saw a picture of Leigh Meyer standing with a horse and he was in Hunt Seat tack. I had not ridden in 25 years, so I called Leigh and changed my life. That call was the best thing I could have done for myself. It has kept me young for 16+ years! I started riding, then showing and winning in Hunt Seat, Halter, and Western Pleasure.
Leigh and Randy built this training, showing, and breeding program to help young, prospective trainers get a good start. The Meyers are dedicated to mentoring these future leaders in the industry and providing them with some of the best Arabian and Half-Arabian pedigrees in the country! I now have several horses in training with Leigh and Randy at Rhapsody in Blue Stables and am always comfortable knowing they receive excellent care and love because the Meyers love the horses in their care.
